The artists in Discursive Dress use clothing as an aesthetic means to discuss political issues as well as class, race, popular culture, high fashion, feminism, academia, subcultures, anthropology, the entertainment industry, and the history of costume, through the form of modified, transformed, created and recreated clothing.
